CRA’s 2009 National Assembly was held in Sydney from 23 to 26 June. Over the four days, leaders focused on dialogue between the Abrahamic faiths – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. They considered the reality of multi-faith Australia and its future, and looked at ways they could dialogue more effectively with other faiths.
They welcomed Jewish and Muslim speakers and gained an appreciation of the life of people of those religions in Australia. They also shared stories on what congregations are doing in a multi-faith context, and investigated the future role of Religious in the growth of a harmonious and rich multi-faith Australia.
