2015 National Assembly, Brisbane, 22 June (Monday) - 25 June (Thursday) 2015

The 2015 National Assembly, "Live with Gratitude, Hope and Passion: Celebrating the Year of Consecrated Life", featured renowned speaker Sister Carol Zinn ssj, a Sister of St Joseph from Philadelphia and the Past President of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR).

Sr Carol's sessions over the three days were an exploration of the following:

  • the meaning of consecrated life as lived by women and men religious in the Church and world today.
  • the wider understandings of ‘consecrated life’ in the contexts of: (a) the baptismal call to holiness and mission and (b) the sacramental understanding that all creation is holy and that life is sacred.
  • our emerging commitments and what we are being called to as a result of our reflections and conversations for individual Congregations and Institutes and for CRA as a whole.
