Catholic Social Services Australia (CSSA) is the Catholic Church's peak national body for social services in Australia. Its 69 member organisations provide social services to over one million Australians a year in local communities in metropolitan, regional and remote areas. Some of these services are delivered by members of religious congregations or their affiliated organisations. Catholic Social Services Australia is a commission of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, reporting to the Bishops through a Board of 9 persons appointed by the Conference. CRA is represented on the CSSA board of CSSA by Sister Mary Quinlan rsj.
