The Pentecost edition of the congregations' newsletter offered this update. "In our discernment asking the Holy Spirit to guide us in our decisions, we asked Sr. Sarita Kurikattil, who had just returned to India last year, to return to accept the office of provincial leader."

The Carseldine community also farewelled Sr Bernadette Edgecomb from the Province's Office of Leadership.

In further news on appointments, Sr Philomina Mathew from the province of India South is the new Director for International Tertiate in Croydon Sydney. The Australian Province is happy to have Sr Philomena on board.

"Sr Philomina brings with her to Australia a broad experience in guidance of young sisters at all levels of formation up to final vows. Add to this, her years as provincial leader of the Province of India South, and the Australian province is blessed in her coming to us. We thank the province of India South and our Congregational leadership team in Rome for making her available to be with our tertians preparing for life vows."
