Pope John Paul II described World Mission Sunday as"an important day in the life of the Church because it teaches how to give: as an offering made to God, in the Eucharistic celebration and for all the missions of the world". This year World Mission Day is Sunday 19 October 2014.
We celebrate Social Justice Sunday on 28 September. This year’s Social Justice Statement is titled: ‘A Crown for Australia: Striving for the best in our sporting nation,’ which celebrates the place of sport in our national life.
