PATRICIA BERGIN
 
Patricia Bergin has degrees in the Behavioural Sciences, Education and Curriculum Studies. She taught for some years in Catholic colleges in Victoria. In 1991, the Catholic Education Office Melbourne employed Patricia as an Education Officer.  She worked in the area of Leadership Review, Professional Development and Performance Appraisal Programs.
 
In 1999, Patricia established a consultancy business to work with Catholic secondary schools, religious orders and not-for-profit organisations.
 
She has worked with school boards and school leadership teams; in professional development programs; mentoring newly appointed principals; organisational review and has facilitated the development of strategic plans.
 
In more recent times Patricia has also worked with religious orders in the development of strategic plans; the facilitation of chapters and assemblies; workshop presentations and the formation of Provincial Leadership Teams.
 
She has led projects for Catholic Mission, the Victorian Catholic Education Offices, the Australian Technical Colleges, the Principals Association of Victorian Catholic Secondary Schools (PAVCSS) and the Victorian Catholic Secondary Schools Deputy Principals Association (VCSSDPA).
 
Patricia was a member of the Christian Brothers' Education Commission for 10 years and has held the position of member, chair and director of a number of Catholic primary and secondary school advisory and incorporated boards.
 
She is active in social justice issues and coordinates the children's liturgy program in her parish. She is married with two teenage children who currently attend Catholic secondary colleges.
 
In 2008 Patricia facilitated the CRA National Assembly in Melbourne.
